As a wedding photographer in Adelaide, every now and then a real South Australian wedding comes along that absolutely floors you. This was one of those.

Adelaide is a special place, not only to me, but also to this awesome Radelaidian Bride and Groom who both have deep routes in this city. It's where they're from, it's where they live, it's where he plays cricket, and where she teaches kids... It's where friends and family gathered to celebrate their inevitable marriage, and it's where they'll now begin their lives together.

But beyond the location, a story like this reiterates what a wedding is really about. It's not what you see, or hear, or taste... it's what you feel, and how strongly you feel it... 

All day long, I felt like I was surrounded by beautiful moments, and the task of translating them into images was almost overwhelming. This feeling I speak of hung in the air like a thick cloud of nervous energy during the wedding day preparations. It reverberated off the church walls during the ceremony. It screamed across the afternoon sky over the foot hills at sunset. It flung wildly to and fro on the reception dance floor... And this feeling I speak of... this love... for this couple... will echo in the city of churches forever!
