KENZIE + KYLE // Austin TX, Wedding Photography

From Subway to Wedding Day... This pretty much sums up Kenzie and Kyle's story. They met one fateful night on the NYC subway, and a few years later they piled all their closest family and friends into an awesome rustic dancehall in Dripping Springs (the wedding capital of Texas) for one helluva shindig. I was stoked and honored to tag along for the ride and photograph every little moment and detail along the way... and man, were there A LOT of photo worthy moments and details!

I met Kenzie and Kyle in NYC when we got together for their spur of the moment engagement shoot. Well, it was more like a walking tour of the east village sprinkled with a few cocktails and photos here and there. We got along famously and I was beyond thrilled when they extended an invitation to come and finish telling their story in Austin (where Kenzie is originally from).

You know, most weddings these days don't really happen in neat 6 hour windows on a Saturday afternoon. Their more immersive experiences that warrant at least a full weekend of coming together, reminiscing and celebrating.

Kenzie and Kyle totally embraced this notion and made the most of their time with the crew throughout a few nights of eating, drinking, sitting around the fire and stargazing... These are exactly the types of experiences I love to document. AND these guys in particular made me feel so welcome that I thoroughly enjoyed every moment, and not once did it fee like "work". That's largely due to how kind, fun and generous these guys are. Their vibrant chemistry just seems to fill the room and draw everyone in to their happy go lucky state of being. It was a true pleasure to be around them, and needless to say, when it came to taking the photos, they made it a breeze!

As for their actual wedding day... Everything was styled and executed to absolute perfection! Probably due to Kenzie's impeccable taste and on point organization skills. But also because of their fantastic contributors:

Dress - Made with Love Bridal // Venue - Vista West Ranch // Florals - Petal Pushers // Hair - William Edge // Jewelry - Kendra Scott // Rings - Jordan Clines Jewelers // Catering - The Root Cellar //

Thank you, Kenzie and Kyle for a truly authentic, wild and fun Texas wedding experience!
