The recently engaged Veronica and Chris took some time out to do something different in the picturesque Deception Pass Park just outside of Seattle, WA. And it just happened to be one of the most beautiful things I've seen in my days as a traveling wedding and engagement photographer. I love when shoot locations are more than just beautiful scenes to look at... As it turns out, this place is special to the couple and holds relevance and meaning to their story and relationship.

A meaningful location always makes a shoot more emotional and memorable.

After an hour or so adventuring around the dramatic landscape, the sun dipped and Veronica and Chris relaxed in to one another for some of the sweetest and most genuine moments of connection I've ever had the pleasure of witnessing and capturing on camera.

Needless to say, I hope to return to this incredible part of the country again and again... and if more couples can grasp what it means to let your guard down, wear your heart on your sleeve and take time to focus on one another, like these guys, then I am sure to be one happy photographer!
