The Ancient Spanish Monastery is an amazing venue for a destination wedding photographer. It's almost overwhelming how beautiful this place is, and how interesting the story behind it all... However, on this day, it was merely a backdrop for a more interesting and more beautiful story. Stephanie and Paul's wedding has been a long time coming... so needless to say they wanted it to be an epic celebration! The location they chose reminded me of a Cinderella type fairytale (if Cinderella's story had taken place during the Spanish Renaissance). This day had it all; an awesome ceremony setting, great weather, romantic light, plenty of family and friends, and one huge dance floor party to cap it all off. The reception had life, culture and energy like I've never seen before on a wedding day. There was even a masquerade after party which fit the entire theme of the day perfectly... and it was just so much fun to shoot! It was a perfect day, and I couldn't be happier to have been there to document it for two awesome people. Here's how I saw it...
