Samantha and Hunter didn't take much convincing when I suggested we take a trek through the wild Florida landscape for their engagement session recently. The idea is always to give the couple a chance to connect in a unique and interesting way before the wedding day. The art and adventure that results is just a bonus from my perspective. During every engagement shoot, we encounter something unexpected. As it turns out, this particular state park had just undergone a controlled burn of the scrub and forest areas. Needless to say this created some pretty special photo op's. 

Samantha and Hunter's chemistry in front of the lens was pure photographic gold in my opinion... I can't thank them enough for trudging through the dirt and ash for the sake of these images. I can't wait for their wedding in Miami next year! It's going to be epic!
