One thing I love about being a destination wedding photographer is finding unexpected place like this... On my way to Clayton, Georgia (a place I never would have imagined to be so beautiful), I thought back to when I first met Renee and Bryan. It was over a year ago that they contacted me to shoot their mountain wedding. Thanks to the wonders of technology, we were able to meet face to face via Skype and I knew instantly that I had just made two new friends!

Renee and Bryan are an absolute joy to be around. I’ve gotten to know Renee through our numerous pre-wedding discussions, not to mention a photo shoot with her wonderful family, and of course their engagement shoot last year. They are both such genuine people; I knew their wedding was going to be so, so special! It was exciting, emotional, and just plain old fun in an absolutely breathe taking location (The Lake Burton Club, in Clayton GA).   

It was a long day, but I enjoyed every minute of it. I want to thank Renee and Bryan for including me in their special day, and giving me a reason to visit such unsuspecting beauty in the Smokey Mountains.
