Switzerland... I'm not sure if there is a country more beautiful. The mountains, the wild flowers, the clouds and the gorgeous evening light, are all things that have set a new standard of what I look for in a beautiful backdrop. It's the perfect scenery for a true love story to unfold... And this one was indeed special.

I see a lot of happy newly weds and excited engaged couples, but Stephanie and Jonathan are on another level when it comes to showing their shared affections. They seem more like adorably obsessed teenagers in the way they love one another, even despite being together over 9 years. Their chemistry is infectious, and an absolute joy to capture on camera. 

All this aside, they're also two of the kindest and most thoughtful humans alive, and I can't thank them and their lovely family enough for hosting me and showing me their beautiful country.

I spent almost a week in Valais, following them around in preparation for their wedding day. We went on two separate photographic adventures... One being the wedding day itself (images coming soon), and this day which was more of a chance for them to connect and tell their story in a more intimate and unique way, in a place they love dearly.

To Stephanie and Jonathan, I am eternally grateful for these memories... not just the moments I was able to capture of the wedding, but for the memories I brought back for myself... They'll live with me forever.
